Recently we were requested to start work on a global media and communications plan as a result of a proposal that was presented to the Bhakti Trust prior to this year’s Vraja Mandala Parikrama in Vrindavan. You can read the Media Plan here.
Currently I am in the process of contacting some of the artists, designers and creatives in our network and get the ball rolling. A budget has been approved to start developing entry level preaching and promotional materials, as well as introductory books, posters, cards, and more.
BhaktiMedia.org –
A Sanga Call for Media, Arts & Culture
The sanga needs your help to meet its worldwide media needs. BhaktiMedia.org is an online community where you can learn how to share your media talents with the sanga and other members.
Our community designers for products and websites may use media you share. It may also be available for members on the Bhakti Sanga Media Library site to download and use for announcements, presentations, preacher programs, and noncommercial websites and blogs.
The site will be completed in the coming months. While we welcome everyone to share their media, only high-quality media will be accepted for use. Thank you for your interest in this effort.
Call for Writers and Creatives
The new BhaktiMedia.org website is still being developed. As a result, the upload section is not yet ready, but is coming soon. For those of you who enjoy writing scripts and real-life stories of members, for all types of products and productions, this is the section for you.
When complete, this section of the website will contain links and information about how you can share your writing talents with our team as we help improve upon the current perception and identity of Srila Gurudeva’s worldwide community of devotees (the sanga), and to enhance the quality of its communications, including publications, presentation, and overall appearance.
Contact us with your ideas and suggestions.
Tell us what inspires you, how you would go about creating that, and what you need in getting there…. We look forward to hearing from you.
